We have recieved a quote of $500.00 to replace the tub, some tiles, and soap holder + labor of course!  They had approxamently $125.67 in their piggy banks that will be going to toward the cost. We will use the profit from this auction towards the balance and then it is onto other toys!

Reports indicate that Japans NTT DoCoMo is the main shareholder of the company, in addition to Nokia Siemens Networks. The new Tata DOCOMO 3G service is available in nine locations across India including, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, UP (West), Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra. Last night 3G services were launched in 20 cities and we expect it grow rapidly.

New York State

The 2010 New York Election results are all but official now. Prior to this year's election, if you go to the polls, would you have guessed that the Democrats Schumer and Gillibrand would be chosen in the New York State Senate elections. It turns out, these polls are pretty accurate.

For the New York Senate seat, incumbent Charles Schumer seems to have defeated Republican Jay Townsend with 65% of the vote to 33%. These reports contain only 84% of the reported votes, but enough to Schumer project as the winner. Schumer won in all provinces, except for Hamilton, Wyoming, ! Allegany, and Tioga.

For the other New York Senate race, incumbent Kirsten Gillibrand held at its seat, which was originally Hillary Clinton. Gillibrand defeated DioGuardi by 61% to 37% of the vote.

The race for governor of New York, the recent polls show Democrat Andrew Cuomo leading Republican Carl Paladino with 58% of the vote to 33%. It appears that these polls are fairly accurate too. With 86% of the vote reported, Cuomo is leading with 62% Paladino of Paladino's 34% vote.

It seems like the Democrats three major elections in the state of New York.

Florida governor

The 2010 Florida governor's race a close ever since the primaries ended. Polls showed Rick Scott and Alex Sink ran neck-and-neck the whole way. There was no reason for something else on Election Day 2010.

The match finished even closer than the polls had indicated. With 89% of land reported, Republican Rick Scott leading Democrat Alex Sink by only 1 percentage point. Scott had 2,553,434 votes, while Sink had 2,500,510 of 10:30 this morning. The exit polls showed either no or candidate is heavily favored. The only thing that was noticeable was the fact that 52% of independent v! oters supported Rick Scott, while only 42% supported Alex Sink.

Rick Scott has been named the winner of the 2010 Florida governor race. Although 100% of the election had not been counted, Alex Sink admitted to Scott.

Republican Scott will take over the current incumbent governor Charlie Crist, the Florida Senate elections lost to Republican Marco Rubio.

Alaska Senate Race

Everyone is watching the Alaska Senate race since it was announced that Miller would be made against Joe Scott McAdams and incumbent Lisa Murkowski. From now on 76% of the Alaska Senate Election results have been reported, and is looking more and more like Lisa Murkowski will be the winner. Murkowski, who took office in 2002, looks to hold for a new term.

Joe Miller beat Lisa Murkowski in the primaries, but Murkowski was running a write-in campaign.

So far here are the election results for the Alaska Senate Race

– Joe Miller has 68,288 votes, representing 34% of the vo! tes that have been reported. – Scott McAdams has 47,414 votes, representing 24% of the votes that have been reported. – There are 81,876 write in votes, which are generally expected to Lisa Murkowski, make up 41% of the votes that have been reported.

As it stands it looks like Joe Miller can lose the race to Lisa Murkowski and the vast majority of the write-in votes are indeed Murkowski. Counting the write-in vote names will not begin until November 1918.

Nevada, Illinois, West Virginia and Colorado election a toss up

If we ever get this close to Election Day 2010, the fate of the balance in the Senate rests on many important elections. Although Republicans are expected to numerous seats in both the Senate and House of Representatives to get Democrats still hope to pull an upset many of the major races to close to their advantage.

Some of the matches to remain close to call, according to pre-polls, which are in Nevada, West Virginia, Illinois and Colorado. They will share an essential role in the overall scheme of things in the Senate to move forward in the second half of the term of Barack Obama ! as president.

Rossi & Murray

With the 2010 elections for the Washington State Senate will meet tomorrow, there still remains little separation between Patty Murray and Dino Rossi in the latest polls.

Two polls were released today, both showing a close race. However, both also reveal several candidates in the lead.

The Fox News / Rasmussen poll shows POR-Patty Murray Dino Rossi leading by 49% to 47% of the vote.

The "Public Policy Polling" poll shows Republican Dino Rossi, who leads the Democrat Patty Murray made. They have leads Rossi by 2 percentage points (50%! to 48%).

This race is expected to be a close one, until election day, when we find out who are the Washington State Senator. Murray is the current senator. She has held office since 1993. Rossi is looking for her release. Will they do it? Search on election morning 2010.

Dilma Rousseff Will the first female president of Brazil

After a hard fought struggle, Dilma Rousseff, which is connected to the Workers Party of Brazil, officially announced as the winner in the race for the presidency of Brazil. Rousseff, the first female president in the country, inherits a country that has seen huge economic benefits in the past decade.

Rousseff, who fully support the current president, Lula, and was greatly helped by the entry, won 55% of the national vote, while her opponent won 45% Jose Serra. Lula leaves office with approval ratings are through the roof. The 62-year-old Dilma Rousseff, will take office on January 1, 2011, with Vice-President, Michel ! more so.

Rousseff was born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, and is of Bulgarian and Portuguese decent. She has a long career in politics, making her well qualified for the new position. In the past five years she served as chief of staff of Brazil President Luiz Inacio da Silva. Prior to that, she served two and half years as the 21st Minister of Mines and Energy in the country. The victory will also advance an already flourishing political machine for women in Brazil.

Projected path of Hurricane Tomas

If we look at the 19th named storm in the 2010 Atlantic hurricane season, Hurricane Thomas, churn toward the Caribbean Sea, forecasters have begun the future of what the storm could keep understand. Unfortunately, the outcome of what may be the last hurricane of the season may happen to be the worst so far this year.

From 8 am AST the National Hurricane Center advisory, the hurricane was located at 14.0 ° Tomas N 63.3 ° W, or about 155 to the west of St Lucia, and 355 miles to the SSE of San Juan, Puerto Rico. The storm is packing winds of 100 miles per hour, and moves in a WNW direction at about 8 miles per hour. The expected path of Thomas i! s to continue on a WNW track, then on Thursday abruptly change to a more northerly heading. The National Hurricane Center Tomas just south of the country of Haiti by Friday morning, as a very powerful storm.

Although we have about 5 days away from any land in the Caribbean, residents of the small country of Haiti, to be on edge. A major hurricane, the magnitude of Hurricane Tomas, is something that the country experienced a major earthquake on January 12 this year, which an estimated 230,000 people slain, not even to consider.

Everyone in the Caribbean, full attention must be paid to the future National Hurricane Center updates.

Martin Luther

Today, October 31, there will be compliance with two very different types of holidays.

Reformation Day is celebrated today to commemorate the Reformation the Lutheran and some Reformed churches. Reformation Day, the anniversary of Martin Luther to bring the Protestant Reformation. Today in 1517, Luther wrote a letter to the Archbishop of Mainz and Magdeburg. In that letter he included something we call the 95 theses. Today these institutions are known as the main catalyst for the Protestant Reformation. They protest against indulgences.

Of course the other holiday observed today, especially for non-religious reasons, is Halloween. Halloween is a holiday observed m! ostly for fun for kids and some adults. Kids go "trick or treat" by knocking on doors of neighbors who in turn give them candy. Halloween is celebrated around the world. It is mainly observed in the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland and Canada.
